Black Lab Post-Break In Fundraiser

The Black Lab was broken into on December 6th. We are running an online fundraiser to recover costs to replace the door, labour for proper door install, and to replace the items that were stolen, including a PA which is a big part of our services as a community venue.
This is especially devastating for The Black Lab because we are working on a sustainability effort so that we can offer even more low barrier access to our venue by reducing fees, and doing better promotion and providing better access. This sets us back quite far on our efforts.
We have recently hired a part-time venue manager to support this sustainability effort, and this break-in and these costs deeply impact our ability to do the work we had planned to do with this new position in place.
