Chris Harvey

On Sunday February 2nd 2020, Chris Harvey was involved in an accident that left him severely burned on 20% of his body with most of it being 3rd degree and some 2nd degree. He was flown to MCV where he is currently getting treatment and is currently intubated with hopes of removing the breathing tube in the next day or so. He is alert and does know what's going on and does answer questions and is in good spirits. Doctors say everything is looking good but it will be a long road to recovery. He had his first surgery on 2/4/20 and will have more scheduled in the future.
               There has been a Meal Train page made for the kids and Sherri at this time to help them out. As of now I have set the goal at $5000.00 with hopes of increasing it as the days move forward. Chris is a volunteer firefighter with Disputanta Fire& Rescue who has given countless time away from family to assist the public in anyway he can or even a friend that calls and needs help. Chris would give anyone the shirt off of his back and now he needs our shirts. 
            This will not be the only means of fundraising that we will be doing. We are working on getting a few other ideas together and get those going as well. Sherri does in home daycare and unsure of when she will get back to doing what she loves and Chris will be out of work for an unknown amount of time so anything you can do will go a long way.
