Greetings and humble salutations,

My name is Mary Kwawu and I am currently a senior at George Mason University located in Fairfax, Virginia. I am pursuing my bachelors degree in healthcare administration with a concentration in systems management. It is my dream in the future to manage a hospital or healthcare facility to ensure that patients are provided with quality healthcare. 

However, being a DACA student, I’ve faced many obstacles and challenges that has made the journey difficult to endure. In 2012, former President Barrack Obama passed a law that allowed dreamers like myself to obtain a work authorization which allows us to attend school and work legally in the United States. Sadly, the Trump Administration are working together to bring this program to an end which will jeopardize the future of over 80,000 dreamers like myself. 

I am hoping that by sharing my story, you can help by supporting me financially to pay for the cost of renewing my DACA and furthering my education.
