Jayde's Journey Fighting Cancer

Jayde was welcomed into the world on the 23rd April, 2018 and has filled everyone’s lives with so much love and joy, especially her Mam, Dad and two older brothers who absolutely adore her.
Sadly, Jayde was diagnosed with a brain tumour 2 weeks after her 1st birthday. On May 5th, 2019 Jayde was admitted to Temple Street Hospital that evening she underwent an operation to relieve extreme Hydrocephalus and a shunt was fitted to relieve future CSF build up due to a blockage caused by the tumour.
On May 12th, 2019 Jayde underwent 7 hours of major surgery and surgeons removed over 96% of a large tumour. Jayde was then given a gruelling 380-day chemotherapy schedule and is required to have MRI scans every 3 months. She is currently being cared for in Crumlin Children’s Hospital. Jayde’s Mam and Dad have never left her bedside throughout her treatments. She has kept them strong by being a little warrior who continues to smile and dance even with all she has been through. It is hoped that Jade will finish her chemotherapy around September 2020.
As you can imagine this is any parents’ worst nightmare. Please help support us in raising much needed funds to help Jayde and her family as Jayde continues her journey fighting cancer.
