Jay's Hockey Injury Medical Fund
Donation protected
On September 16th, Jay Neuwinger was badly injured in a hockey game after taking a very hard hit to his right leg. The impact lead to an extreme amount of swelling and pain, which turned into acute compartment syndrome, requiring emergency surgery the next day.
Doctors had to make a 14" long incision in the muscle in his thigh to relieve the pressure and said that if they had waited much longer he may have lost his leg.
After spending over a week in the hospital, enduring multiple painful surgeries, Jay is looking at a pretty lengthy and difficult recovery. He won't be able to work, skate, or do most of the activities he usually does with his family and friends. On top of all this, he's facing some hefty medical bills.
Please help in any way you can. Donations will be used to help pay medical bills so that Jay and his family can focus on his recovery. Let's help this guy get back on his feet, and hopefully eventually back out on the ice!
Thank you for your support!
