Jay Michaud is in critical condition at Shands Hospital in Gainesville Fl.
What's Going on?
Jay's Liver and kidneys (acute renal failure) have failed and Jay is literally clinging onto life as we speak. His heart is in bad shape too as a result. He is not doing well and these medical bills are stacking up quick. While $10,000 wont cover it all it sure will help us get Jay the help he needs and possibly get his house setup for hospice home care if he is able to leave the hospital. Right now he is on a CVVH machine and needs kidney dialysis to function. (Fun fact: The machine helping keep Jay alive right now runs on a Program Called "NX" If you know Jay you know that he is deeply in love with his Nissan NX2000 We think he would find this very funny)
How did this happen?
This is all been a long time coming for Jay and many of have known to some degree that he has not been doing well lately. When Jay was a kid he was diagnosed with cancer. While he did get better , the Chemotherapy used back then did a number on his internal organs. Jay has been sick for a long time but has gotten really bad since January. Over the past month, it has gotten much much worse. Jay's family needs your help. Larry Dillard and His Mom Sam have not left his side. Keep both of them in your prayers.
What is needed?
1. Jay needs your love and prayers and visits. He is somewhat responsive and has enjoyed seeing the people who have come to visit.
2. Jay needs money. He has not been able to work for a long time and is currently in need of help to get his home fixed and medical bills taken care of. For those of you who can give... your radical generosity is greatly appreciated.
3. Jay needs help selling a few of his vehicles (the work van and his nissan frontier) and getting his house fixed up. If you can help with either of those things feel free to contact me through GoFundme or shoot me a FB Message.
