Jax Cleary

Jax has amazingly been accepted to go to Milan to receive treatment for his Port wine stain (PWS) under a surgeon who specialises in his condition 'Sturge Webber Syndrome'

Treatment is needed to maintain his skin otherwise the PWS will darken, bulk or start to have a cobblestone appearance, it is not just for cosmetic reasons!

I am grateful for the NHS, but it's been a struggle getting Jax the right support as SWS can affect face, eyes and Brain (although Jax MRI shows no abnormalities on his brain so far)

In essense this is 3 departments and loads of appointments ussualy in Birmingham children's hospital every month which is easy £100 in travel just for his eye appointments not Inc his other appointments

Research shows that the earlier treatment is started the better clearance, however our NHS do not start treatment early enough and I want the best outcome for my boy.

I have some brilliant friends that have started some fund raising to get us to Milan to receive the treatment. I have also got some fundraising football cards if any of my friends and family would like to get one filled, No pressure I know it's incredibly cheeky, but do you know what its worth it to get my boy the right treatment.
