Reconstrucción casa Javi Díaz

El sábado 5 de febrero de 2022, nuestro amigo Javi Díaz y su familia perdieron su hogar, con sus pertenencias, a causa de un incendio.

 

Es una casa especial, porque supone el sueño de toda una vida para los padres de Javi. Construida piedra a piedra por el padre de Javi, durante los fines de semana, con la ayuda económica de sus hijos, durante más de dos décadas.

 

El incendió se inició en la chimenea. Parece que una chispa se coló a través de una fisura y de allí saltó a las vigas (de madera) y los tejados.

 

Cuando los bomberos llegaron a la pequeña aldea de Tombrio de Arriba (El Bierzo), el fuego ya había arrasado con casi todo.

 

Especialmente con el estudio de Javi. Ya que esa casa no era solo el hogar familiar, si no el estudio de trabajo de nuestro amigo. Allí tenía sus cámaras, ordenadores, discos duros y todos sus materiales de trabajo.

 

También 20 años de archivos fotográficos de trabajo.

No ha quedado nada. Su estudio se ha quemado al 100%.

 

Desafortunadamente el seguro no se responsabiliza porque caducó hace poco tiempo. La familia de Javi ha perdido una gran parte de su hogar y Javi ha perdido su estudio y sus herramientas de trabajo. 

 

Por eso os pedimos una aportación económica para ayudar a salir a la familia de este bache. Su intención es volver a reconstruir su hogar con sus manos, así que también estaremos encantados de recibir aportaciones de materiales de obra o que nos acompañéis unos días en los trabajos físicos de reconstrucción.

 

Uno nunca piensa que le pueda pasar algo así. Pero pasa. Y cualquier pequeña ayuda es esperanza entre las cenizas.

On Saturday, February 5, 2022, our friend Javi Díaz and his family lost their home, with their belongings, due to a fire.

It is a special house since it is the dream of a lifetime for Javi's parents. Built stone by stone by Javi's father, during the weekends, with the financial help of his children, for more than two decades.

The fire started in the chimney. It seems that a spark slipped through a crack and from there jumped to the (wooden) beams and roofs.

When the firefighters arrived in the small village of Tombrio de Arriba (El Bierzo), the fire had already destroyed almost everything.

Especially Javi's studio. The house was not only the family home, but also the work studio of our friend. There he had his cameras, computers, hard drives and all his work materials.

Also 20 years of working photographic archives. There is nothing left. His studio is 100% burned.

Unfortunately the insurance is not responsible, since it expired a short time prior to the accident. Javi's family has lost a huge part of their home, and Javi has lost his studio and his work tools.

That is why we ask you for a financial contribution to help the family get on their feet again. The intention is to rebuild their home with their hands, so we will also be happy to receive contributions of construction materials or that you join us for a few days in the reconstruction work.

You never think something like this could happen to you. But it happens. And any little help is hope among the ashes.
