FT RVer Home Destroyed By Fire
Donation protected
For the past 4 years my mother Dee Lane has been living full time in her RV "Betty". She commutes 2.5 hours to work on weekends while spending the rest of her week keeping an eye on her mother. Saturday morning 3/18 she awoke to smoke. Her furnace caught on fire. She not only lost her only means of transportation to support herself, but her home, business, and all material possessions. She came to find out after this tragedy, that her insurance did not cover the RV. Sadly this has spurred a fresh start under not so great circumstances.
A little history. Dee is a veteran. She has spent the last ten years with her body fighting against her. She has been diagnosed with lupus, fibromyalgia, raynauds, and heart complications. She is limited on what she can do for work, but took comfort in building her small business, Dee Lane's Half in the Bag, while supplementing by waitressing as her health allowed.
