Jasper Mountain Ideas and Inventions Scholarship

**Contributions  benefit scholarship recipient, whom is chosen by a five member committee.  Scholarship is awarded on baccalaureate night at Aspen high school.

Jasper Mountain Ideas and Inventions Scholarship was created to celebrate  the love, kindness, masterful wit and genius of Jasper, who's  brilliant  physical presence on this tiny planet was cut short-this time around,  by cancer some years ago.

January 2021.   Again, our annual goal is to prepare $1200 (our site shows the total multi-year contributions).   If we get past the goal amount, we'll simply increase the scholarship award.   You are invited to contribute any amount- large or small.

While humble in size,  the Jasper scholarship is a CARPE DIEM,  a platform to celebrate the innate optimism of  life.        Thank you, wholeheartedly, for being a part of optimism in practice.     x

From our mission statement:
"The intent of the Jasper Mountain Ideas and Inventions Scholarship is to  illuminate the possibilities that arise when any of us imagines the un-imagined, stretching day to day consciousnesswhile looking about and seeing what can or should be done, along side what has been done.  This, succinctly, was one of Jasper's signature attributes.
Annually,  our committee invites high school seniors to submit  ideas and inventions born of optimism.
Now, in our 15th year, we continue to award an annual scholarship in Jasper's name.  Our ultimate intention is that large or small corporations might utilize student's mostly brilliant and unfettered  ideas, rewarding them with full scholarships and perhaps, patent rights.    In the meantime, you're invited to help keep the scholarship thriving by contributing financially.  Any amount is welcome and very much appreciated.  Carpe Diem!"
