New Studio Album for Encouragement and Inspiration
Everyone, at one time or another, has experienced depression, anxiety, and the pressures of life. During these times it is often hard for one to find the words and/or energy to express these feelings to others. It is often that we suffer in silence, thinking we are the only ones that experience these feelings. Music has always been, for me, a source of healing. As a clinical psychotherapist and professional musician, I have made it my life's mission to bring awareness to mental health through the healing powers of the creative and expressive arts. My new project is designed to bring this message to the listener, a message of hope, love, belonging, and peace. Each song has been picked to speak to the soul of those who are hurting, and give them assurance that we are never alone in our struggles. We have friends, old and new, who are there to share our burdens if we would just reach out. Most importantly, we have a God who is gracious, loving, and wants to give us comfort and peace.
The goal of my music and life's mission to bring this message to as many people as I can, whether it be in the clinic, churches, auditoriums, or any other concert venue. But what happens when I go? What happens when there is no one there to speak this message in person? I have been asked numerous times if my music and message was available for them to take with them as they leave. This project will allow me to say yes!
In addition, the completion of this project will allow me the possibilities of signing with a major record label to bring more of these type projects to reality. There is nothing I desire more than to spread the message of hope, forgiveness, belonging, peace, and acceptance through my music.
