Jason Tiede’s Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Kristi Thury. The Parkston HS class of 1989 is fundraising to help cover Jason’s Medical Expenses!

Jason is a lifelong resident of Parkston and Dimock, SD. He was active in sports, band, and student government while in high school. After completing basic training to serve in the Army National Guard, he attended and earned his degree at Mitchell Technical Institute. Though he swore he would never pursue a career in agriculture, he has served farmers his entire life – first at Agland Coop and most recently with Ag Advantage. Jason is an avid snowmobiler, loves the outdoors, and has a true gift for gab (AKA… BS!). He and his wife of 31 years, Rona, are high school sweethearts and have two daughters – Bailee, married to Miles Mogck (with Baby Mogck coming soon) and Karlie Tiede. He is looking forward to being a grandpa and also getting in the field to harvest this fall. Jason was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma in April 2021 and has bravely endured various treatments since then. Despite not feeling well, Jason never wants anyone to worry about him. “God’s got this,” he says… and he’s right! We are grateful to friends and family for lifting us up with prayer and for the many acts of kindness during this challenging journey. May God Bless You All for the care and concern you have shown.
