Funeral for Jason kweku Apreku
Hello everyone,
I am writing to you today on behalf of the Apreku family to let you know about the loss of Jason.
On Friday, August 11th, 2023, Jason was hiking with his friends in the White Mountains of New Hampshire where he suddenly collapsed. His friends called for help and began CPR in a desperate attempt to save his life on one of the Mount Madison trails. An army National Guard helicopter was dispatched from Concord but severe winds prevented the helicopter from reaching him in time. He passed away before the rescue crew could get to him.
We are absolutely devastated by Jason's passing and the Apreku family is attempting to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Based on one of the quotes received, the costs involved in the funeral service for Jason will be between $8,500 and $12,000.
The Apreku family will likely need to pay funeral costs by 25Aug2023. I’ve started a fundraiser to collect donations for Jason's funeral service. I'll be managing the funds donated and will withdraw and send all funds directly to the Apreku family. Nana Apreku (Mother of Jason and a dear friend of mine) will be the beneficiary.
