This GoFundMe page is to support the amazing family of our dear friend, Jason Carr, who passed away at 47 years of age on Wednesday , May 8th, of pancreatic cancer. With his passing, Jason leaves behind his beloved wife, Stephanie, and seven children. They are an incredible family who need love, and support in order to get through this devastating time of loss. The last thing they need to worry about this time is how they are going to recoup and survive financially.
Jason was an incredible father, husband, son, brother, musician, and friend. He was a big brother to a lot of us- he stood up to bullies, helped a teen mom get off the streets, and gave shelter to many a wayward youth. Jasono pened his heart and home and gave all he could to those in need. He was the life of the party and that person who could befriend literally anyone. He would give you the shirt off his back. He was always there if you needed a friend. As a father, he absolutely adored his family and would do anything for them.
Jason had been sick for over a year???battling and overcoming a variety of health issues. It was not until about a week before he passed away that he was actually diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. During the past year he was unable to work and made it incredibly difficult for his family and him to make ends meet . With Jasons failing health ,it became virtually impossible for Stephanie to work.
Since the passing of Jasons father , the family had been living in Bullhead City , AZ with Jasons stepmother. Last month , she sold the house. Stephanie and 5 of the children are starting over in Las Vegas, living with her brother.
We are asking our friends to spread the word to their friends and suppport the family in short and long term. We hope to ensure the family can focus on their health, healing and happiness for the foreseeable future.
Jason’s passing is tragic not only for his loss of life but also for the devastating effects on his family. Please know that any amount — no matter how small — will benefit the Carr family. Whether for food, college tuition, or to help Stephanie get her nevada nursing license so she can go back to work, your donation will make a significant difference in the lives of Stephanie and their children.
