Jason Barnhart's Transportation & Funeral

Last October (2019), my father, Jason Barnhart, underwent a quintuple bypass surgery. During this surgery, an aortic aneurysm was noticed. One year later, he is now in critical condition and in need of an emergency TEVAR (thoracic endovascular aortic repair). This procedure was scheduled, but following a recent angiogram, it was realized that an additional left carotid-subclavian bypass is needed and takes precedence over the aforementioned TEVAR. My father has been living in Guam for the past few years while working as a Navy contractor. As there are no specialists on the island to deal with his current situation, he had to be transported to the Philippines (the only other location that would accept his insurance). The reason for this fundraiser is to aid my father and the rest of our family with medical expenses and travel to be there with him during this time. His air ambulance alone, without the cost of these procedures and hospital stay, was totaled to $90,000 with insurance only willing to cover half. I appreciate any friends, family, or strangers that are willing to donate for this cause. During these trying times, especially while travel is restricted, these events have taken a toll on myself and family. Please, keep my father in your prayers and share, if you can.
