Jan's Journey to Fight Cancer

Hi, Friends, maybe you already know, but I was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer in April on my 60th birthday. This is my second time to fight this battle as I was diagnosed in 1999 with Stage II. My Doctor says my prognosis is 2 to 18 months to live, but I heard this before 16 years ago. I have elected to fight this battle again through naturalpathic protocols. My insurance company will not cover any of my past or future treatments because they state it is a preexisting condition. So, my medical bills are currently more than $60,000. Everything I have been doing has been out-of-pocket or through the donations of friends and family. Due to extensive surgery to remove a tumor from my colon, I have not been able to work. I have lost everything due to this disease, but, it will not take my life! I just finished a 21 day treatment that cost $20,000, all through the help of my friends and family, and I feel great. My cancer is stable for now. I need additional funds to cover a PET Scan, bone scan, blood tests and doctor's bills and another $8,000 to continue my treatment. Any contribution, no matter how small, would be most appreciated. My hope is to be able to continue to fight this battle naturally and prove my doctor's prognosis wrong. I hope to set an example for anyone battling this disease that it doesn't have to be a death sentence.
