Flowers have always been a sign of hope, so I am using this photo in hope that you will open your hearts and help Dennis and Pam, my good friends for 34 years.  They have a current emergency and almost nowhere to turn.  Last spring the upstairs toilet broke in the middle of the night, causing water to rain in the living room and basement for hours.  After working with the insurance company for months to form a plan so that the asbestos in their 1920's home can be removed and repairs done, they moved to a rental home 3 weeks ago.  Last week we found bed bugs at the rental, confirmed by 3 exterminators.  Today, they have been told the infestation is so bad they are not allowed to take anything with them.  They are losing furniture, clothing, food, dishes, special items, therapy items for Sam, schoolbooks and uniforms, shoes, everything.  I am starting this in hopes that some kind souls will be able to help them replace at least some of their belongings, and buy medicine and food, as they have significant food allergies.  Sam is severely autisctic, pica and a gastrointestinal disorder, so they can't take anything back even if it is chemically treated.   If you can't contribute, please pray for them!  God bless you!
