Janine is a kind, courageous woman of God and the loving wife of Eric Sommer. She is also the amazing, creative mom who homeschooled their 4 children – Hannah, Rachel, Nathan and Abbey. Sweet Janine loves to cultivate friendships, tend her garden and watch Hallmark Christmas movies all year long
December 2015 Janine’s life was threatened with a diagnosis of uterine cancer. God has graciously sustained her for more than five years through a myriad of treatments such as chemo, radiation, homeopathic care and mistletoe therapy. Janine’s journey toward healing became even more difficult a couple of weeks ago when doctors removed tumors that had spread to her brain.
Unwavering and steadfast in her faith, Janine is happy to be home with Eric and their children. She is eternally grateful for the many acts of kindness, prayers and other outpourings of love. Given her continued weakened state, recent surgery and hospitalization, the family is facing SERIOUS financial hardship.
