Janie Hellstrom Memorial College Fund

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that those who would like to memorialize Janie to consider a donation to a college fund for her granddaughter, Searlait.

 

Janie was a strong believer in education and spent many years teaching and tutoring children as they grew. One of her greatest wishes was that her youngest grandchild, Searlait, would have a balanced and supportive environment in which to learn as she grew older. Janie spent many days and nights reading with Searlait and teaching her new and exciting things. Janie often expressed to her family how she would love to ensure a solid education to help her granddaughter along as she journeyed through life.

 

Donations will be curated by Mark and Michael, along with her sister Kay and her niece Karen. Any donations will be converted into a trust fund or a 529 college fund to ensure Searlait receives every dollar for her education.
