Janice's Prosthetic & Recovery Fund
Donation protected
On June 24th, Janice Holloway was admitted into ICU for Advanced Septic Shock. A terrible situation made worse by her chronic illness known as Lupus. After a harrowing week long battle, she has survived despite the 2-5% chance Doctors estimated. Survival of this ordeal was not without cost.
On July 31st, all fingers on her right hand to the second knuckle, and also both her legs from the knees down were amputated. She is one of the kindest, most loving people I know. She has always helped others and is an RN who assists those in Hospice and provides musical therapy, as well as Chaplain services.
We'd like to give her the best chance at her new life so that she can continue giving and helping those in need. Funds will go towards Physical Therapy and get her the best prosthetics we can find. The price of a new prosthetic leg can cost anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000. But even the most expensive prosthetic limbs are built to withstand only three to five years of wear and tear, meaning they will need to be replaced over the course of a lifetime, and they're not a one-time cost.
We appreciate all your help and prayers!
