Janet's Cancer Expenses

As most of you  know my Mom, Janet Gehring, is going through treatment for Cancer. In October, after months of not knowing what was wrong with her she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. She had surgery and is currently going through Chemo. In the meantime she is unable to work because of doctors orders. She has gone through her savings and has little money coming (social security) in since she was not covered under her work disability insurance. Although most of her medical bills have been paid there are somethings that are not being paid like co-pays, prescriptions, health insurance (approximately $400 per month), etc. In addition, since she has little income coming in her rent takes the majority of the income. So far she has been able to get by because of her savings but has used it up earlier this month. We are looking at long term options including moving her to a lower income apartment as well as applying for social security disability (which she was told it would take 5-6 months to be approved). Please pray for my mom as well. Pray that she would be cancer free. Pray for her mental health as well during this time. Not having the financial resources for basic living is very stressful on her. In the picture for this campaign is a picture of her in December. I made several hats for her since she has lost her hair because of the chemo treatments.
