Last Sunday while attending my best friends wedding I got a phone call that my brother had unexpectedly passed away. He was out at a junk yard with my nephew helping him collect parts to fix up his car. When he all of a sudden collapsed. My nephew called 911 and was instructed to start chest compressions until the ambulance came. Once the EMTs showed up they tried to revive him but by the time he made it to the hospital he was unresponsive and they pronounced him dead. He was an amazing brother always helping people out. He did alot for my family, he baby sat my newborn daughter for me once I went back to work every Friday, helped my dad fix up his house after the hurricane, helped my brother Billy fix up his racecar, took our mom to doctors appointments and helped my Nephew with whatever project he was working on.
As if this loss wasn’t devastating enough for my family to deal with Monday night after a long day of mourning my family decided to go to dinner to discuss what arrangements needed to be made for my brother when going into the restaurant my mother lost her balance and fell hitting her head. We called 911 and waited for the ambulance. We knew this process all to well since my mother had just recovered from a skull fracture last year where she made a miracle recovery. The doctors came out to tell us that she had a lot of swelling and bleeding on her brain and would have to be intubated and sent to a trauma hospital. We followed her to the hospital where they informed us that she had significant brain damage and she would most likely not wake up or be who she was again. We were all devastated. They sent my mom to the trauma icu where she stayed to monitor her brain function. After a few days of waiting and doing cat scans every day they informed us her brain function was minimal and decreasing. After the heartbreaking news we made the hard decison to have her sent to hospice and the breathing tubes removed. She fought hard for 24 hours after the tubes were removed but finally took her last breaths with us all surrounding her.  My mother was an amazing woman working 7 jobs at times to support us. She took in many of our friends who needed a place or had trouble with their own families. She loved all of our friends as if they were her own children. She did everything she could for anyone she could. She was an amazing strong, compassionate and giving mother to all.

With all that these two have givin in life, we would like to show our gratitude to them by giving them the burial they both deserve. Unfortunately under these unexpected circumstances our family does not currently have the funds to give them the proper burial. So we are asking our friends and family to please help us in honoring their giving nature by giving back and giving them a proper send off and final resting place.

Any amount is appreciated.  And if you can’t give anything a share to help us reach our goal is greatly appreciated.
