Jane's Work Van Repair Fund

Help a small business owner repair her work van.
2020 has been a tough year for all of us and this year has been quite challenging for me. I am working hard to live my dream of working as a remodeling contractor and self-employed business owner.
I am an artist, a carpenter and jane of all trades when it comes to home remodeling, home repairs, carpentry, paint, etc. You name it, I can probably do it. I strive to create impeccable work and have a fine attention to detail. My work van is my lifeline to creating income and my only mode of transportation.
Tragedy struck last weekend when I crashed into a deer with my van while driving home at night. I am so fortunate and grateful I was not injured but I cannot say the same for the poor deer. It left a large dent on the side of my van and destroyed my front headlight assembly (fender, bumper, hood). I live out in the country and now it is unsafe for me to drive at night with only one headlight on dark highways and country roads. I can’t risk the chance of another accident and injury to myself or others. I am 30 miles outside of Omaha and will be unable to drive to/from jobs in the evenings or even visit my grandchildren until I am able to repair the headlights.
My savings have been used up with basic food and living expenses. I have already borrowed from family members to cover previous mechanical repairs this year to keep the van operational.
I would be so grateful for any support you can offer to help me get my van up and running solid so I can continue to drive to job sites and create steady income. Rest assured, I will most definitely pay it forward to the next small business owner or poor, hardworking soul who just needs to catch a break.
When I took the car for two estimates in neighboring towns, the lowest price estimate was $2,600 just to put the front bumper/hood/fender corner together so that I would have a solid headlight working for me..
The $2,600 price does not cover the damaged car doors which I can repair later on.
Thank you for your consideration and I wish you all very happy holidays ahead.
