Jane Fitle's Medical Fund

Donation protected
This past April our close friends, Kyle and Maddy Fitle noticed that their precious 3-year old daughter, Jane (left) a normally meek and gentle spirit, suddenly began crying unconsolably from severe back pain.  Concerned, they took her to the doctor who ordered many tests and scans.  An MRI showed a mass on Jane's spine that had collapsed her T6 vertebrae and was very close to her spinal cord.
The Lord used Jane’s surgeon in Boise to connect them with a pediatric oncologist in Cincinnati who specializes in treating LCH.  This oncologist has done amazing work, using a medication called trametinib to treat LCH. Unlike the standard cancer treatment of chemotherapy and steroids, this once-a-day pill targets a specific enzyme chain which enables the reproduction of the LCH cells. He has seen incredible results with this medication in children and there have only been very minimal side effects. In order to confirm that this medication will work for Jane, they need to confirm that she has a specific genetic pathway in her LCH which the trametinib can target. Due to the novelty of the treatment and bureaucracy of medical insurance, Kyle and Maddy were not able to get the required medical tests covered. That is the primary purpose of this GoFundMe, even though they have not asked anyone to raise money for them.
Kyle and Maddy continually express how faithful the Lord has been through each step of this difficult journey. From the moment they found out about Jane’s cancer, they know that they have never walked alone. He has shown Himself faithful in both big and small ways, and he has used so many people in their lives who have been praying for them and serving them.
They have stated that they are trusting His plan for Jane completely, know that He will provide all that they need, and hold Romans 8:28 to be true, “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”
We invite you to pray for Jane and to praise the Lord Jesus Christ for His faithfulness, goodness, and love.  And if you feel led, please consider a gift of support.  According to the surgeon, the genetic testing alone will likely cost $7,500.
