Hello to all friends and potential new friends of Jamie Wright, one of the most giving, selfless, and loving individuals we are lucky to know and love.
Jamie was recently seen by a retina specialist and told she potentially has a tumor or Coats disease (a rare congenital disease) in her right eye. A bubble on her retina is hemorrhaging and will possibly require costly injections and laser treatment.
The medical expense for further diagnostic testing and treatment of either scenario are exorbitant and daunting. Jamie is currently uninsured but she is trying to obtain insurance. We will keep you posted.
Jamie has contacted philanthropic organizations to inquire about any available assistance. It will take time to hear back from these groups, and hopefully find support, so we've started this GoFundMe account to help with immediate needs.
