Jamie Moyer recovery fund

Jamie Moyer was a regular Joe,  a true blue-collar guy, drove a truck, loved his dog, loved hunting, and worked for his own home remodeling business. He came home from work everyday to the love of his life Marissa. One day he came home. He knew that Marissa’s depression thatshe had been battling for many years was getting worse.  Marissa took her own life with a single gunshot wound to the head. Her long battle with depression ended in a split second. Besides a few scattered minded text messages she didn’t even leave a note with any real explanation. Jamie was broken! He had no idea it had gotten that bad. He could no longer live in that house. So this broken man packed himself up and his dog Bailey and moved into a new place. Not long after moving into the new place Jamie and a couple of his buddies decide to go hunting, which was Jamie‘s favorite past time. Exactly 35 days after Marissa’s suicide Jamie was climbing up  a hunting stand and fell and broke his neck. Jamie is now in Jefferson Hospital of Philadelphia where he’s been for many months. He was in a coma, he woke up with a trach in his throat and told he will never walk again. After many surgeries unfortunately there still no hope for Jamie to ever walk. He lost his home, his business, his truck, his dog, his ability to walk, his ability to be a man, and most of all the love of his life. No one deserves this.  The saddest part  is that this story is true.
We are starting this page asking for donations. Any donations are welcome but there is some extremely extensive medical bills, and when Jamie is finally given the okay to be released they will have to pay a mind shattering amount of money to renovate the home to be fully handicap accessible. The family friends that are willing to take Jamie in. Do not have the finances to convert their home to a fully handicap assessable home. We do not have an exact release date yet but it could be as soon as a month. Jamie does not have any finances to have a full-time nurse with him. The only way he will be able to care for himself is in a family friends home. The home will need to be converted completely into handicapped assessable, so he could do most every day needs himself. The home needs to be safe enough to leave Jamie there alone while the family friends are away at work. This is a time sensitive matter at a time year when probably most people are still broke from the holidays but we asked that  you can find it in your heart to extend a little Christmas miracle into  2018  for this young man who has lost everything. Jamie has actually remodeled homes in the past for these exact purposes... but never imagined that he would one day be hiring someone to convert a handicap accessible home for himsel.

Thank you and God bless
