We are excited to announce that after spending many days and nights studying, soaking in, and memorizing God’s Word, Jamie (grandson of Tramaine Hawkins and the late Walter Hawkins) has qualified to participate in the National Bible Bee in San Antonio, TX in December! Over the next several weeks, Jamie will be endeavoring to memorize a total of 634 Bible verses in preparation for this amazing event!
We’d like to go as a family, and are trying to accomplish this amazing voyage without placing the entire financial burden on Daddy! If you'd like to support little Jamie on this journey, we would love and appreciate your help. We are seeking contributions toward the many expenses that this trip will require (registration fees, hotel accommodations, meals, gas, tolls, etc). We believe that this event and the preparation for it will be a faith-building time for all of us, especially for our children who will have the opportunity to meet and be sharpened by young people from across the country who are also making it a priority to know, understand, and obey God’s word.
