Jamie Jordan Neurosurgery Recovery

Hi Everyone! My Name is Amanda Jordan. My sister and I are starting a Go Fund Me Page for my Brother Jamie Jordan. He was recently Diagnosed with a very Large Benign Brain Tumor called a Meningioma. The Neurologist said his Tumor was the largest one he has ever seen. Jamie can’t hear out of his left ear and he has paralysis in the left side of his face. His surgery was scheduled within two weeks. His surgery was on 7/19/21 at Christ hospital. It took the Surgeons 12 hours to remove it. He is currently at Christ Hospital on the rehab unit. The surgery was only supposed to last 6-8 hours but it was a lot harder to remove the tumor than they originally thought. His recovery time will be longer than what was anticipated. Jamie is currently doing Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. His insurance company unfortunately will not cover some of the medical equipment he will need when Discharged from Christ Hospital. We are also asking for help with his rent and bills due to his longer recovery time. I am moving in with him while he recovers when he is discharged. We appreciate everyone of you.
