James ftm trans and 2 cats kicked out

I wasn't really given much warning or even talked to about it, just had it dropped on me, but I have until May.  FTM trans, w/PTSD, I work full time, but life has been rough. Spent about 2 and a half years recovering from a car accident, and haven't had much in the way of stable living environment since the crash. My family is the kind that would rather me have died. Had me making them lunch and doing chores days after the crash when half my body was very broken and I could hardly move, and if I didn't comply they were going to throw me out. They are and always have been abusive narcissists, and will lie to and watch even their own parents die if given the choice/no monetary or social consequences.  I've tried very hard not to become scum in my lifetime and help others when possible.

Never asked anyone for a dime as far as I can remember, and always worked my ass out of money trouble/sold stuff/just didn't eat, but now that my two cats welfare is involved, and with such a short amount of time, I could use a little help. I planned on saving up and moving this year anyways, but was expecting more time to save up for a mortgage for a TLC 20k kind of house.

Anything beyond my goal will go towards helping me keep the new place, which will likely be an apartment unless the goal is greatly surpassed. I appreciate any help and kindness that you offer me.

My cats names are Pumpkin and Sheik. Pumpkin got kicked out of his home, when his owner had to go into the nursing home and I rescued him about four years ago. Sheik I took in almost ten years ago when he was a kitten by a dumpster and some guy joked about running him over. They are allergic to nearly everything (even cotton) but are very smart and loving babies. I work at a vet and could leave them there if I have to camp outside/can't find a place on such short notice, but it'd be very hard on them and me.
