James Clark Medical Expenses

On October 22nd, we were riding with James in Sly Park when he was struck by a jeep while crossing a fire road.  He sustained a severely broken left leg and a compound fracture of his right arm.  He spent 4 days in the hospital and is now facing some significant medical expenses.  The current prognosis is 3-6 months before he can walk again without crutches, and the severity of his leg injury might require further treatment and rehabilitation.  As his friends and witnesses to this terrible event, we wanted to help James and his young family during this difficult time.
  
James would also like to do his part to prevent this from happening in the future by funding additional signage on Trail 8 at the road crossings.  Although the road was behind a locked gate, it is still a dangerous situation with no warning for either the mountain biker or the motorist.
