I am Darcey Hildebrand and would like to raise some much needed funds for my Mom and Dad.
James Hildebrand has had a 7 year journey dealing with intestinal issues. He has had multiple surgeries in Canada and never had any long term success. James had his last procedure in Canada in November and has spent time in and out of the hospital with a bag taped to his stomach collecting stool that was leaking out. James went to Mexico April 30th 2019 to a medical institution that would specialize in intestine/abdominal procedures. James has had 1 surgery there to date, which was still not successful. He is now slated for a second surgery. James has an incision aprox 12-14" long on the front of his stomach which he has stool leaking from due to the connections on his intestines not healing.
James has also been off work for over a year and a half due to an injury which has left him in need of a hip replacement. This procedure can not happen until the stomach/intestines are in good health. James is having a very difficult time believing there is any hope in healing at this point. Joyce has also taken a leave of absence from her job in the last 3 months to care for James. This journey has been very challenging for both James and Joyce.
The cost for the medical expenses to date are $65,000 and is a running tally as more surgeries are needed. We would like to help them and raise some funds to help pay for medical expenses and living costs.
