James E. Schrauder, Jr. Memorial

Jimmy was diagnosed with lymphoma about 3 months ago. However, his doctors indicated he had a very good chance of beating the type of cancer he had because they caught it relatively early and it was a type of lymphoma they’d been able to treat with a high degree of success.

Jimmy was confident he could beat cancer, as were we all, and his doctors thought he was well on his way to doing so, because all of his tests were looking good and his affected nodes were shrinking, significantly.

Suddenly, and tragically, Ann’s and all of Jimmy’s family and friends’ hopes of Jimmy beating cancer were dashed when Jimmy passed on Friday, October 12th, at the young age of 31.

I remember Jimmy’s warm smile, his kind demeanor, and how he always went out of his way to help me. So, please join me in helping Ann and Jimmy’s family with all of these unexpected costs at a time when money should be the last thought on their minds.

I love you, Ann, and Jimmy will be greatly missed!
