James Norman of Scott City, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 23, 2019. He left behind three beautiful, loving, compassionate children who wanted to start a scholarship in his name.
James taught Art at Leopold School in Missouri, a very small, rural school that welcomed James with open arms. He loved it there, loved his colleagues and loved his students. Mr. Britt, the Superintendent of Leopold School, worked with me (James' significant other) to develop a plan to fund a scholarship in his name.
This gofundme will raise the funds to found The James E. Norman Art Scholarship, to be awarded annually to a Leopold School art student. In this way, James' students can continue in their creative, artistic endeavors in his honor and memory.
