James and Ashley Gilliland

James was driving home from Atlanta and ended up getting into an accident on Saturday, September 15, 2018. His truck and racecar trailer rolled several times and he was ejected from the vehicle and airlifted to St. John's. He spent 3 days in Neurotrauma ICU and was transferred to a step-down unit today! He broke his neck in 3 places , back in 6 places, 10 broken ribs, pulmonary contusion, shattered scapula, broken sternum and broken clavicle. His pain is very intense and he and his wife Ashley are going to have a very long road ahead of them! She is a wonderful Nurse Practitioner but will be unable to work full time while he is in this immediate recovery as he needs assistance with all of his activities of daily living! We are so thankful that he had no brain damage or paralysis and that he is ALIVE! All proceeds will go towards James’ rehabilitation and their daily expenses and neither James or Ashley will be able to work for a while!
