James Allen's Medical Fund

Hello Friends and Family, 

I am reaching out to you because as you know my long time  family friend James  Allen, has been suffering from several serious illness throughout the years .Which has ultimately led to kidney failure. Through this long journey  by the Grace of God  he has received a Kidney transplant. Which  has led for him to take several medications everyday for the transplant and other illnesses. James is currently on the Pancreas transplant list.  

He was briefly out of work due to ongoing medical issues. His health insurance is through his  previous employer and ends October 23,2017. To continue the coverage through COBRA (a program that allows you to keep insurance although you're no longer employed). He has to pay the full premium of $1600.00 by the end of this month.His new insurance does not start till January 1,2018. Without his insurance coverage JAMES WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PANCREAS TRANSPLANT LIST. 



Without health insurance coverage James will have pay full price for medication. The state MD offers assistance with paying for medication once a year, but because he has recentley used this program he is not eligible again until 2018.

So I am asking if everyone can come together and support James by making a donation. I would greatly appreciate it. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even $5.00 dollars can help him get closer to paying his insurance.
