Jamaican Artistic Swimming team - CCCAN 2019

Donation protected
Hello.
We are a synchronized (Artistic) swimming team from a small town of Port Antonio in Jamaica.
Pour team has only 10 members. There are no public swimming pools in out town, so the girls are practicing in their coach’s pool.  You can read more about us in New York Times article: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/01/29/travel/jamaica-girls-synchronized-swimming-olympics.html

Despite the challenges our girls are dreaming of the olympics and working hard to achieve this dream.
This year 5 of our swimmers had qualified for the National team representing Jamaica at the Central American and Caribbean Swimming Championships in Barbados  on June 23-28.  Traveling to this competition is expensive, but it is necessary for our swimmers development when they get to compete with the best swimmers from other countries and become more motivated to work harder.
Last year we only sent 3 swimmers to this competition and they brought back 4 medals. This year with the the team increased in numbers and with new routines prepared, we are hoping for even better performance.

The total amount we need to collect is over $10,000 USD. It will cover the flight for 7 people (5 swimmers+ coach+judge), hotel, meals and entry fees. Jamaican swimming federation is covering 30% of the costs. So we need to find the rest $7,000 USD.

We we hope you can help our swimmers to participate in this competition and make their island proud one more time.
