Jakore's College Fund

Dear Family and Friends, 

I need your help. As you all know, Jakore has been with me since he was 15. He had just moved to Virginia to take advantage of new opportunities. Since then, he's made incredible progress. He is an all A and B honor roll student, a star athlete, and a mentor to his siblings and friends. He's grown to be more responsible, caring, and hard working. 

I need your help to finish what I started. The goal has always been to get him into college. His parents and I have worked hard to give him the best chance to succeed. With your support, we can help him go further. 

I'm asking all of my friends, family, co-workers etc. to consider making a small donation to help this young man take a large step forward in life. The money we raise will go towards a laptop, college application fees, visits, books, and seed money to give him firm footing as he makes this important transition. While it would be a modest start, it would still ease some of our financial burden. 

You all have been a part of his journey from the very first day. Help me push him further along. His faith is larger than life, and we are  confident in Jakore's success. However, as the old proverb says - it takes a village to raise a child.
