Hi all,
Thank you for visiting this page for our wonderful, sparkling girl, Jaime.
Jaime is a gorgeous and positive wife, daughter, sister, business owner, veggie-loving, kitty cat lover and friend who is currently living through an experience that would challenge the strongest of us out there.
After suffering two large seizures at home and being rushed to hospital just over a week ago, she found out that she was living with an obnoxious free-loader – a large brain tumour. Jaime is one tough cookie and went into surgery to have that sucker removed days after.
Tomorrow, Jaime begins 6 weeks of radiation therapy. Followed by 6-12 months of Chemo. She has been incredibly honest, thoughtful and brave in her commentary about the C-bomb. However, there is one part of this journey that she hasn’t mentioned – and that’s the costs and challenges of going through the treatment.
We are asking for everyone to kick a little something in to offer Jaime and her husband, Simon a little relief during this time, to provide a little breathing space, and to relieve some of the extra financial strain that occurs up during serious medical treatment and healing.
To all those around her, Jaime has given love, patience, and kindness and shone an incredible light in our world. We want to make sure the light she shines radiates for a long time yet, and are all determined she can beat this with our support and her humorous and positive attitude.
