JAH SPIRIT

It is with heavy hearts that we have to let you all know that our beloved Jah Spirit has passed away on Sunday 18th February 2018. Spirit had a short battle with cancer and sadly passed away from the disease. He leaves behind his 10 children, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as many brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends from across the Globe. If you knew Spirit he was someone you will never for get and touched the hearts of all he knew and met. So this loss is one that will cut deep for many across the globe. Let us play our drums and chant for the late Jah Spirit... the one and only... legend... friend...Mc... Chef the list goes on... Whatever you donate will go towards Spirits, funeral costs such as head stone, burial plot, funeral service, venue hiring and other necessities. We plan to have a permanent memorial for Spirit in a park of our choice. We feel this will be a place where his friends, family and associates can always go, including the general public can pay tribute to our dear Spirit. Spirit lived up to his name. He was a free spirit and a realist who enjoyed helping and assisting the general public. He loved to travel, enjoyed music and loved the natural environment so a memorial as such would be one befitting of his memory. We are open to advice on what you all may think the memorial should be.
