Hello my name is Jadriél, I am a 21 year old hispanic trans woman living in Saint Petersburg Florida. I am a active and vocal member of the LGBT+ community who believes that everyone is entitled to a life free of discrimination, harassment or harmful legislation and I have not been afforded that same courtesy. As a result of the anti-trans laws passed or presented in Florida, I will be moving to Oregon to reside with other trans people in a safe state/city.
As a result of notifying my employer of my relocation, my hours have been cut considerably. This is considering AFTER stating I needed more hours to safely make this transition across country. So now I am reaching out to allies, supporters, friends and family for financial assistance in my move. These funds will be used in acquiring air fare and securing housing while I look for another job in Oregon.
