Jadiamond Jones

Due to the overwhelming support of this story, we are creating this gofundme on behalf of Ja’ Diamond Jones who sadly loss her life due to gun violence on May 12, with her graduation day just around the corner. She was a mother of one and an amazing educator to her young students.

She was pursuing a nursing degree at Nunez Community College in Chalmette. “Jones was beloved by fellow students and faculty in the Practical Nursing program.” She was known for her smile, positive attitude and friendly demeanor to anyone she came across.” What has echoed in the voices of everyone who we have encountered, is that her presence will be greatly missed.

A Balloon release will be held on Tuesday, May 16th to honor the student who was suppose to graduate on this day. Home going Services will be held on Friday 19th, 10am at New Home Church at 1616 Carondelet St.

All proceeds will go in a trust fund for her son Khaza.
