Jaden & Gracie Racine's Wedding Story

Donation protected
Jaden & Gracie Racine were married on Sunday, May 1, 2022! Just 24 hours before they said "I do" Gracie was in a terrible UTV accident. She was care flighted to Plano Medical City where she was treated for head trauma. The plans to cancel the wedding had already begun but that wasn't Gracie or Gods plan...she received a miracle! She was released from the hospital that evening with a concussion, fractured orbital bone & 14 stitches to the side of her head. Gracie is also suffering from 4 broken, cracked teeth and many other bumps & bruises. There was no stopping this girl...she was still getting married!
It wasn't an easy day, but they did get to say, "I do"! Gracie made it through the wedding ceremony but then headed back to the bridal suite...not even able to take pictures. What was supposed to be a 30-minute rest turned into Gracie not being able to leave the room all evening. Nausea and exhaustion took over. At 9:00 pm, we decided to start cleaning up, and Jaden was going to take her back to the hospital to be re-evaluated. While trying to get her loaded in the car, she got sick, but I guess that was a good thing! She looked at Jaden and said she needed her first dance with her husband! At this point, the DJ was loaded up and leaving, all decor was down & most guests had gone. We found a blue tooth speaker, and Jaden & Gracie were able to do their first dance. We pulled the cake back out and they were able to cut into their beautiful cake.
While this is such a beautiful wedding story and we are all so thankful Gracie is ok and on the mend we are all so saddened at the fact they have worked countless hours to pay for such an amazing wedding and reception that they did not get to enjoy. We are not even sure Gracie will remember much of it!
They were to leave for their honeymoon tonight (Monday, May 2nd), but they are having to cancel and unfortunately they do not have travel insurance. Gracie is in too much pain and needs to get into a dentist for her teeth. She will also be seeing a surgeon on Friday for her fractured orbital bone. She will continue to rest and recover from her concussion.
On behalf of Gracie and Jaden's family and friends I am asking for donations to help with medical expenses, have a small redo wedding reception & send them on an amazing honeymoon!
