Jacquettas Medical Assistance

I have a niece that just turned 41 years old on January 3rd.  Her name is Jacquetta Jones.  Everyone who knows her can attest that she is a very pleasant and loveable person.  Jacquetta has a multitude of health issues and is under a great number of physicians’ care.  She has local doctors but also must travel back and forth to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota 2-3 times a year.  Jacquetta’s health began to deteriorate shortly after she gave birth to her son 18 years ago.  Since then there have been some bad calls made by previous doctors which has now led and will continue to lead to future health problems.  Several of her issues are incurable but are manageable but only by a few select doctors.  At this point in her life she has had over 60+ surgeries.  It is a higher number than that, but I am not sure of the exact number.  She said it is in the 80's range.  At one point doctors thought that she was such a huge medical liability that doctors stated that they could not take her under their care because she was such a high risk for a tragic event to occur.   She suffers from PsuedoSeizures, AVM tumors, Cardiovascular Disease, Severe Anxiety,  Migraines, Severe Anemia, Vesiospasms, Osteoarthritis, ect.  She has a wonderful husband  who has always worked to jobs and uses every vacation and personal day to tend to her medical needs.  His name is Tella Jones.   They have 1 son and have always remained positive for his benefit.  During these past 18 years her family has incurred an abundance of medical expenses that has ultimately wiped their bank account empty.  Because it is pertinent that she receives adequate care, extended family members have also contributed to their household.  Jacquetta has neurological issues, heart issues, stomach issues, vascular issues, and hormonal issues.  Due to her frequent exposure to radiation her risk has dramatically increased to develop cancer.  Jacquetta’s husband accepted a new job the end of 2017, thinking it would put his family in a more comfortable financial situation.  Unfortunately, his insurance policy has exclusions against many of Jacquetta’s needs.  Her perscriptions alone are several hundreds of dollars monthly.  She is having trouble getting several of her medications, ostomy supplies, and getting expenses for her upcoming trip to the Mayo Clinic covered.  No matter what she is facing she will always greet you with a smile.  My goal is to start a Charitable account to help her out with these expenses.  These are all medical necessities that at this point her family just cannot afford.  One of Jacquetta’s main health concerns is that her body grows Arterial Venous Malformation Tumors in her right femoral artery.   There is no cure for these and very few doctors know how to care for them.  Her issue with her arteries also affects her heart and she is very anemic, which forces her to get both blood transfusions and iron infusions about 2 times a year.  The goal is to raise at least $10,000 so that she can get to her next appointment at Mayo Clinic February 5th where she will again be having surgery.  I am sure she will appreciate whatever help you can provide.  No amount is too small.  Please share this with everyone.  Thank You!
