A few years ago JD started having fainting episodes. He was told that it was due to a low pulse rate but after recently having headaches and a few other symptoms his family took him to the doctor again. Then he had a CT and MRI done. After those scans, the doctors discovered a mass in his brain. On April 11th, 2018 JD had brain surgery to drain fluid that was building up and take a biopsy of the mass. Then on April 23rd, 2018 JD was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. Unfortunatley his tumor is a grade 4, which is the most aggressive. His treatment plan has consisted of multiple surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, clinical trials, and infusion treatments. Even through all of this JD has continued to stay positive and that is the most important part of his journey.
