Jackson Skarka

On the evening of May 8th, while Paul was inside doing computer work and Chelsea was showering before heading to her birthday dinner, their son Jackson got messing around with a friend who was mowing their lawn and ended up with his foot underneath the lawnmower. He was airlifted to Albany Med and his right foot was pretty badly damaged and so far he has lost three toes and about half of his foot. Their family has a long road ahead of surgeries to keep learning about the damage and future of his foot. They also will have to begin inquiring with prosthetics. Jackson has a very long recovery ahead, But so far has been the BRAVEST and STRONGEST kid with a positive attitude!!

Unfortunately, their younger son Lane was outside at the time and witnessed the entire accident so we also need prayers surrounding the mental health of Jackson’s little brother as he tries to process what he saw.

We thank everyone for their love and support and ask for directed prayers of healing, protection from infection and for the mental health of the entire family as they navigate this.
