We are raising money for Austin's college fund.
Jack passed away 11/11/19 far too soon from our lives at a hot spring in Oregon while on his way to visit Austin for his 10th birthday. Jack's free spirit and expression of curiosity and play are solidified in many of us and he is missed in every moment.
Jack taught Austin so much including how to love the snow and skiing. Austin loved to play, bike, camp, motorcycle and ski with his dad. He jumped off cliffs with his dad and would have gone anywhere Jack guided him. Austin misses the snuggling, talking, watching the stars and Jacks way of teaching him through experience and fun. He spent many nights under the stars, on the water and surfing in California summer camps while learning meaning through crystals, minerals, rocks and shells.
Jack introduced him to the wonders of the world and the importance of breath work and meditation. He has been an important mentor in showing Austin the meaning in ourselves, the world beyond where we are now and curiosity in who we are.
Jack has continued to show Austin strength through transition and the importance of connection to others which he valued so much and what he has with all of us.
Austin is 10 years old and lives in Springfield Oregon.
He is an active 4th grader and plays soccer, legos, pokemon, and anything that includes nerf guns. He bikes and skis at HooDoo or Willamette pass and his best memories are going through the trees at Brighton and being adventurous and free with his dad. His favorite times were hot springs with his dad and especially at the Brighton lodge.
We loved Sunday tail gates in the parking lot at Brighton and barbeques with all of our wonderful friends we miss so much.
