HELP A TRANS PERSON LVL UP!

Jack/Leaf is a non binary trans artist working in disability support care. They are raising money for top surgery, which will drastically improve their life in many ways. They are a hands on disability support care worker, with an extremely physically demanding job, which prevents them from safely wearing a binder. This adds to the gender dysphoria and mental health issues Jack faces as a trans person. Leaf is boldly and unapologetically themselves every day, and their experience of being in the world will be improved through surgery. In Jacks own words:

“I am humbled that this platform exists to create such immense giving and receiving, and that I feel safe and supported to go through this change with sweet friends and community around me.
Summer dysphoria is hitting hard this year and each morning getting dressed and leaving my home is difficult and uncomfortable. Because of the physical nature of my job wearing my binder to work is not safe.
Imagining the ease with which my body will move in the greater world and internally helps me to have hope. I am excited to be able to offer even greater presence to those I support and to myself and my community. Thankyou for holding space to read this and for donating if you are able, as my heart, chest and diaphragm expands I feel so much love safety and gratitude ☁️〰️⛲✨♾️️️“

Cost breakdown:
$10300 for surgery
$4300 for hospital fee
$1000 for bills and expenses while Jack is out of work for recovery
$400 for appointment and consultation fees
= approx 16000 altogether.

Jack is the first person to put their hand up and help, donate to their community even when they are low in funds, makes an active difference in the quality of life of their clients, is a loving and powerful friend, and makes the world a kinder and more authentic place everyday. Please give as generously as Jack does.

This money is being raised on the stolen lands of the Gadigal-Wangal people of the Eora nation. Without the colonisation of this land there would be no western gender binary. As such, any excess funds will be donated to Black Rainbow. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
