Jackie Skeens Our Fighter Our Mom

Our mom got diagnosed with cervical cancer a year ago. Since then she has been through 2 rounds of radiation and is currently on her 3rd round of chemo. Her cancer has moved from her cervix to her lymph nodes in her abdomen, chest, and neck. Along with all the cancer treatments she had an appendicitis a month before she started this round of chemo. She now has to be admitted into the hospital when doing her chemo because she's having an allergic reaction to one of the medicines that is causing her to have seizures so they have to give it to her in smaller doses over a course of hours with constant supervision. If we say it's been easy we'd be lying through our teeth it's been a roller coaster of emotions, good days, and bad news. She hasn't really been in remission since this thing started and being the stubborn fighter she is she's been trying to work during all of this until her doctors and supervisors told her she needed to take time off and take it easy. Honestly we don't understand how she keeps it together with bills from chemo, radiation, surgery and all the other things life throws at us. She tries to say it's fine and tries to stay strong but we know it's stressful and discouraging when you're trying to fight for your life and you can see the debt piling up. We all try to help where we can, but sometimes you need to ask for help from others. What we're asking is for extra help so our mom can focus all her energy on getting better.
