Jack Memorial

As a tribute to Jack, we have been approached by the Town of North Beach Maryland about creating a Jack memorial!
Jack's favorite place to stroll and patrol was along the North Beach Maryland boardwalk and pier. He walked, greeted people and pups, stopped by shops, smelled the flowers, and watched the sunsets (Jack wasn't much of a morning dog and he didn't do sunrises). Everytime he made people smile with his infectious grin.
Jack's look at "the world through the eyes of a black lab" using social media, had people around the world laughing and crying as Jack enjoyed every moment.

Even as he fought against three brain tumors (known as M.O.N.T.s = mean old nasty tumors) that eventually were too much and ended Jack's life, he encouraged others.
Somehow this dog ignited a passion for life and inspired others to laugh at themsleves, love deeper and to fight on when they were ready to give up.
The size, type and exact location of the memorial are not yet determined, but it could be a place where other dogs stop to rest, get a drink of water, tell a joke, or even test their E.F.L.O.M. (ear flap-o-meter wind speed devices) like Jack did at the pier.
If the funds raised exceed the cost of the memorial, any extra will go towards an organization that helps with pet surgery costs or animal rescues.
