Jack and Sherri Home Recovery

As many of you know, Haines has been hit very hard with devastating weather. Sherri, Jack and their two kids were among those who had their home and property severely damaged.  The outpouring of support has been amazing and so many of you have asked us to start a go fund me site, so I am starting this for my sister. Her words say it better then I can:
“Thank you is all I can say. Thank you God for keeping my family safe, thank you Jack for being the most capable, problem solving man I know, thank you Dad (Timothy Maust) for sticking by my side this whole horrible day and tucking us in at your home, thank you neighbors and family and friends for being the rock we can lean on. Our cars are gone, some trucks are buried, snow machines are smashed, there’s mud in our home and water damage. Our Well is buried, power lines exposed, there’s raging water everywhere. But you know what? We are built Alaska tough, Haines!! Together we will get through this. If you are without a home and afraid like we are, do not feel alone and do not give up!
